We are seeking skilled and experienced Escalator & Moving Walk Installation Technicians to join our team for installation, modernization, strip-out, fit-out, mechanical, and electrical works across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform strip-out and removal of existing escalators and moving walks.
Install, assemble, and modernize escalators and moving walk systems.
Carry out mechanical installation, alignment, and adjustment of trusses, tracks, drive units, gearboxes, motors, steps, pallets, handrails, balustrades, chains, rollers, and other mechanical components.
Install, terminate, and connect electrical wiring, control panels, motors, sensors, safety devices, lighting, and communication systems.
Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and functional testing to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals.
Conduct inspections, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and quality checks.
Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards, manufacturer specifications, and workplace health and safety requirements.

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following brands:

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years' experience in the installation, modernization, maintenance, or refurbishment of escalators and moving walks.
Experience in both mechanical and electrical installation of escalator and moving walk systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
Knowledge of motors, control systems, sensors, safety circuits, and electrical testing equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Ability to work at heights and in construction environments.
Relevant mechanical or electrical trade qualification is preferred.
